A change of blogging platform?

OK. I think I am persuaded that using Jekyll + GitHub Pages is a good idea.

Steps:
– create a public repository, ‘blog’, following the instructions
here: http://pages.github.com/
– install Jekyll https://github.com/mojombo/jekyll/wiki/install
– Take a look at
http://recursive-design.com/blog/2010/10/12/static-blogging-the-jekyll-way/
– Import blogs from posterous, see
http://apidocs.posterous.com/pages/posts and e.g.
http://posterous.com/api/2/users/me/sites/primary/posts/
